Our unique countertop sheets are readily available in a variety of styles, including our exclusive Parquet End Grain.

Ready for contractor installation, our Bamboo countertop sheets are constructed with cross-band laminates that we call Multilam (patent pending). In early testing, we discovered that this is the ideal way to glue bamboo. This method keeps the sheet both flat and true, as well as lessens the tendency to twist or warp. Our unique Multilam inner core has the additional benefit of providing a striking edge profile that is just as aesthetically pleasing as it is structurally vital.

Formaldehyde Free Adhesives
Our solid parquet counter tops are laminated with a completely non-toxic, food grade, and most importantly, formaldehyde free adhesive. Our adhesive is so safe that you can even prepare food directly on the counter surface. This adhesive is used on both our natural and caramelized parquet models.

Our vertical grain and flat grain models utilize this same adhesive on both sides of the cutting surface. The Multilam core in these models emit a maximum of 0.03 ppm of formaldehyde, this level is far lower than required by OSHA (USA) E1 (European) CARB phase 1 and 2 and the Japanese JIS/JAS (F**). This adhesive is not used on the food contact surfaces. The adhesive used is a completely non-toxic, food grade, formaldehyde free adhesive.

Styles
Currently we offer four different grain patterns: Flat Grain Dark, Vertical Grain Dark and our exclusive Dark and Natural Parquet

Back Splash
We offer beautifully designed inlay back splashes with cap pieces in either caramelized Flat Grain or Vertical Grain.

Applied Edge
This product is engineered to be applied to any substrate, such as MDF, particleboard or plywood with a plastic laminate overlay or as a fully exposed decorative trim.

Sizes
Available in 30 x 96 x 1.5" or 25.5 x 96 x1.5” and for island’s 36 x 72 x 1.5”

Sheets come unfinished and sanded to 180 grit; ready to be spliced together for a kitchen island or installed as counter tops. You can router the edge profiles to suit your individual kitchen style. Totally Bamboo recommends sealing the counter tops with any of the excellent finishes currently on the market. You can simply use mineral oil, or as a natural alternative, walnut oil and then seal with Bees Wax. Vegetable oil or olive oil is not recommended as it can leave a unpleasant odor.
